The end of March and month of April were challenging weeks of isolation, but to entertain ourselves and engage the many, many folks who have contributed to the promotion of PASSIONAL looks over the years with a springtime edition of our online photo challenge (normally a Halloween-seasonal occasion). Nonetheless we got great photos from the recent and even more distant archives of our favorite PASSIONAL people!

Help us meet our Instagram Challenge to sell via PASSIONAL Boutique Instagram!

It may be weeks or even months before it is safe to open out doors to the glamourous beings that keep our party going all year long. 3. At the end of April, we will tally all the likes you received, and will have each of our active team members rank all the entries in the order of fantasy fashionability, assigning each submitted photo or video a staff score that will be added to this total to determine our winner
4. Winner receives e a $100 gift certificate to purchase any items they might want to add to their style arsenal from the store when it reopens in Philadelphia or at conventions or online!

Diabolique Ball 20: Futurotica

Philadelphia fast forwards to the erotic future for Diabolique Ball 20: FUTUROTICA Saturday, Nov. 19th 8pm to 1am Voyeur Nightclub. 

Native and alien species will swarm to Voyeur Nightclub in Philly’s colorful Gayborhood on November 19th to be bad for a good cause, as they have for every year for twenty years.

This year, FUTUROTICA brings to life dreams of a glossy sexy future of sensual streaming of cybernetic fantasies, electronic erotica and hybrid human and engineered mechanical life. FUTUROTICA invites beings and peoples of all pervsuasions to indulge in an erotic utopia where all are welcome to enjoy the naughty possibilities that the future holds: voyeuristic views, decadent dancing, lascivious libations, prolific play, creative kinky costuming and exotic entertainment. In all corners of the omniverse the mission is unified: raising fun and funds for a wicked good cause!

Two decades after Philadelphia’s first Diabolique Ball, this fun-filled fetish masquerade is returning to its traditional date, the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Diabolique Ball has never borne any resemblence to the charity events of former generations.  A cosmic combination of costumed anonymity, sinful soundtracks and mischievous merriment make this event famous for fetishists and voyagers alike.

The future  kicks into high gear with unforgettable performances from Sapphira Cristal, Josh Schonewolf, and Los Angeles based headliner Jewel Marceau. Mid-Atlantic fashionista’s Passional Boutique, Delicious Boutique, and BabyLoves Latex will all showcase their next generation collections on the catwalk. Ball attendees will be able to do the Robot to DJ sets from Totentanz in the Lux Lounge downstairs, and magnetic music of Mighty Mike Saga on the main floors.

Diabolique’s infamous dungeon will satisfy even the most salacious appetites. Open improvisational interaction is encouraged on equipment provided by The Aviary.  Charity play stations operated by local players and professionals allow guests can try out anything from spankings and tickling to  electrical play and more in exchange for donations to Trans Lifeline charity.

Fashion warriors of the future will enforce the famously strict Diabolique dress code of fetish, fantasy, or formal, but that doesn’t mean that it will be tough to find the perfect outfit. Outer space leather gear, futuristic metallic vinyl or latex, androgynous adornments, LED trimmed cat suits and as much chrome and metallic as you can stand — all of it’s perfect for this scifi-inspired event.

Super cybertronic souls, generous contributors and celebrity guests who desire an additional dose of decadent debauchery can purchase upgraded VIP tickets to the ball that include exclusive access to the VIP balcony lounge seating  til 1am, complimentary hors doeuvres and two hours of open bar from 9pm to 11pm.

Although Diabolique Ball officially ends at 1am, guests are invited to keep their dance going with members of the nightclub at the Exhibitionists After-Party, that will last until Voyeur closes at 3am.

Each year, Diabolique tickets raise thousands of dollars for charities that provide vital services to Philadelphia’s diverse communities: This year’s beneficiary is the Trans Health Information Project of GALAEI.

It’s that time of year, and to celebrate the creative spirits that have acquired couture from our collections, we are doing our annual photography contest and it it easier than ever to enter your photos ! Each year for the past four, we have collected images from our customers and had the PASSIONAL public and our in-store stylists choose a winner from the submitted photos to win tickets to Philadelphia’s Diabolique Ball and a $100 certificate to the grand prize winner. A runner-up s will receive one ticket to  Ball.

In the past, you had to email us photos. But this year, you can enter multiple ways:

1- email your photo to passionalstaff@gmail.com
2- post the photo to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #PASSIONALhalloweencontest
3- bring a photograph into the store during store hours
4- mail a photograph to PASSIONAL Boutique 317 South Street Philadelphia, PA 19147

Rules:

1. Photos can be cell phone or professional, but they must clearly feature at least one product purchased from PASSIONAL Boutique. Please include a description of your costume and the PASSIONAL fashions used. One entry per participant, please!
2. No nudity can be displayed in the photos (as a body positive store, we don’t personally mind, but we want to post the winners on public networks that prohibit nudity)
3. Online posts must be hashtagged #PASSIONALhalloweencontest or we won’t be able to find them for consideration.
4. Photos must be submitted by 11:59PM Tuesday November 1
5. Winners will be selected by November 10 and notified by November 12.

Halloween’s our favorite time of year because, well, we LOVE playing dress-up! People have included our fashions in their costume ideas for years and not only do we encourage it, but we want to reward you for it!
